Special Collections

The International Museum of Art has a number of special collections featuring artwork from around the world.  Thanks to gifts from generous donors, residents of El Paso can tour collections from locales as distant as China and India.

Permanent Collections

The International Museum of Art has four permanent galleries:  the Western Gallery, the African Gallery, the Kolliker Gallery, and the Red Room Galleries.  These collections stay on display continuously.

Visit the museum

The Museum provides free docent-guided tours to all interested visitors.  The International Museum of Art also welcomes large groups from schools, camps, retirement communities, etc.  Please call the Museum at 915-543-6747 to schedule a free tour. 

International Museum of Art

 
Located in the Turney Mansion, circa 1910, the International Museum of Art is operated by The International Association for the Visual Arts.  The museum features artwork by local and national artists. Exhibits included range from artifacts from Africa and Asia.  Also included in the museum is the Mexican Revolution exhibit.  A casita reproduction from the Mexican Revolution era is part of this exhibit.

This exhibit presents the museums permanent collection of aquired art works donated throughout the years to the museum.
